I started working with Smart Marketing because I was moving into a new practice area, adding estate planning to my existing family law practice. I knew Mark Merenda from the Solomarketing listserv, and I was familiar with his company’s work with other attorneys.
As I moved into a new market, separate from what I had previously been known for, I considered re-branding my firm as crucial to that effort. Smart Marketing’s capabilities in that area have really made me stand out in the marketplace. I have been most impressed with the Smart Marketing staff. It’s like having my own marketing department on my staff. I love being able to call them and say, “Here’s my latest idea, make it happen.” I’m astonished at how often their first run at a project is exactly what I wanted. They are very good to work with, very accommodating, and they really do make it happen.
They have accomplished an awful lot of projects for me, including giving me a new corporate identity, two websites, a client newsletter, a blog, a cover for my new book, and so on.
But, here’s the other thing that has most impressed me. I have the sense, always, that the staff at Smart Marketing actually cares about my success. I’m not just a source of revenue to them, they are invested in what I am doing and are always following up and checking on me. I appreciate that attitude as much as the actual work product.
